~Torakhan has important information to all WtA fans:

"So, who else here is super-psyched about W20?

For those unaware, They* are making a 20th Anniversary Edition of Werewolf: the Apocalypse, much like they did for Vampire: the Masquerade.
A "Prestige" Edition of the book will be produced through a KickStarter drive SOON (leatherette-cover, special embossment, and that sort of stuff)...
After that, the PDF and Print-on-Demand versions will be available through DriveThruRPG at [link]

W20 attempts to take the best of the "essence" of Werewolf, strips it down to most of its mechanics that were scattered throughout many books and editions and tries to bring it into one massive (430+ pages) book that has most of the Revised metaplot stripped out and sort of sets the clock back to 2nd Edition, but updates the mechanics and setting to "today" and updates some of the mechanics as well.

More information, and some of the W20 artwork can be seen in this Gen Con W20 Panel discussion on YouTube: [link]

So keep your eyes open if you're a fan. :D With 13 full-page images from Ron Spencer, each main Tribe (plus the lost Tribes) getting a spread illustration by Steve Prescott, and the return of many old favorites and the return of the original "Flip Book of Death" by Joshua Gabriel Timbrook, this is going to be a VERY gorgeous book indeed!

Look for #W20 on Twitter, "Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition" on Facebook, The Onyx Path: [link] , the White Wolf Forums: [link] , The W20 Development Blog: [link] , and wherever else I might be found.

*For those unaware, the White Wolf intellectual properties (IPs) are the property of CCP (makers of EVE Online) after a merger with White Wolf Game Studios. Richard Thomas, Creative Director of White Wolf created a new company called Onyx Path Publishing and has acquired the license to produce tabletop RPGs using the White Wolf IPs. He is using most of the same writers/artists/developers as White Wolf always did. Both CWoD and NWoD continue on!"

That was amazing. 2,108 backers pledged $380,015
of the $85,000 goal for the Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition KickStarter. FAN-TASTIC!
[link]

The PDF/Print-on-Demand versions will be available through www.DriveThruRPG.com eventually (December-ish 2012?)

Because of the awesome response to the W20, NEW products are being developed too. Not only novels, an Anthology, ST screen and the likes, but also a W20 Werewolf: Wild West rule book and WHITE HOWLER TRIBE BOOK.

The KickStarter for the Deluxe Edition of "Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition" is live. :D
[link]

The PDF is $35 alone. The Deluxe Edition is $120 (in the US), or $145 (outside of the US).
There are pledge tiers from $1, to $3,000. Some of the limited ones are already taken, but others still have spaces left.

In the first 10.5 hours, it reached its $85k funding goal.
In the first 14 hours, it reached its first stretch goal ("The making of the artwork for W20" PDF.)
Likely, by the end of the 2nd day, it will meet its second stretch goal of $110.
More stretch goals will be arriving soon. :)

There are only 30 days total to pledge to get this book, or the PDF before it goes public. However, some time after the KickStarter, the book will still be available as a PDF and through several styles of Print-on-Demand through DriveThruPRG, just not the leatherette, full-color, single volume, silvered edged, ribbon-bookmarked, die-cut, embossed version with the W20 medallion on the spine. :)
